We have a professional and trained team to exceed your expectations, quality and guaranteed savings. The base material is completely natural and ecological; It is made up of mortars (lime, gypsum and cement), mixed with natural pigments and pulverized marble. Wall plastering consists of applying successive very thin layers until you obtain the desired result. In the last layer of wall stucco, it is common to polish with wax with a glove or apply some type of finishing texture.

There are several types of stucco depending on their application and, although this technique is timeless, its texture similar to that of marble makes it a current trend.

HISTORY
The term stucco comes from the Italian stucco; It is a form of finishing or decoration of walls and ceilings, interior or exterior, based on paints and different types of mortars that allow obtaining various textures. Given its versatility, it adapts to any type of construction or era. In addition to the decorative function, it reinforces the wall and waterproofs it, allowing natural breathability.

COMPOSITION
Traditional stucco is made of lime, sand and water. Modern stucco is made from Portland cement, sand and water. Lime is added to increase the permeability and workability of the stucco. Additives such as acrylics and glass fibers are added to improve the structural properties of the stucco. This is typically done with what is considered a one-coat stucco system.

PROS
Stucco is attractive for several reasons, the main one being its fire resistance. A 1-inch layer of stucco provides a 1-hour firewall rating, meaning it will prevent the spread of fire from one side of the wall to the other for at least one hour. This makes stucco desirable for multifamily homes with strict fire codes and those in neighborhoods where homes are built in close proximity.
